Kenyans in Japan Association, Embassy of Kenya in Japan, and Keio Business School are organizing Eastern Africa Investment Conference on Thursday 29th October 2015, at Keio Business School (Hiyoshi) in Japan.
The Conference is aimed at supporting the implementation of Kenya’s strategic plan, of promoting Kenya as the gateway to Eastern African market. The conference will bring together the Kenyan Diaspora community in Japan, Japanese investors as well as representatives of selected counties and the national Government to discuss critical issues surrounding Kenya’s economic transformation as well as upcoming opportunities for the Diaspora and foreign investors in the country’s development.
In addition, the conference will build-up on the resolutions reached during the Kenya Diaspora Investment Conference (2014), which laid an important foundation for Kenyans in Japan diaspora discourse as well as ongoing engagement with both the investment community in Japan and the Kenya government. It is hoped that the conference will be an excellent precursor to TICAD VI Conference
